Kapton Polyimide Low Static Tapes

Kapton® Polyimide Low Static Tapes are made from 1 mil thick Dupont’s Kapton® HN film backed by silicone adhesive with ESD properties that reduce static charge during their applications. They are designed to provide a very low static charge during the unwinding and removal of tapes during their application. These tapes are conformable to masking of uneven surfaces and remove cleanly without leaving any adhesive residue after exposure to the heat. Kapton® Polyimide Low Static Tapes have been used in applications at temperatures as low as -269°C (-452°F) and as high as 260°C (500°F). They are available in widths of up to 24 inches and are packaged in 36 yard long rolls on a 3 inch core.
