1 Mil Kapton Polyimide Tapes

1 Mil Kapton® Polyimide Tapes are made from Kapton® HN film with 1.5 mil silicone adhesive. They have been used in applications at temperatures as low as -269°C (-452°F) and as high as 260°C (500°F). Kapton® Tapes are designed for temporary masking of electronic and other components during the assembly and manufacturing process. They are extremely versatile and their thermal performance provides unlimited potential from electronic circuits in the camera to space missions to the next generation of photovoltaic and solar cells. These tapes have a high dielectric strength. The silicon adhesive protection leaves no residue. Kapton® Polyimide Tapes are also available in 1 mil and 5 mil thick film. They are available in widths of up to 19 inches and packaged in 36 yard long rolls on a 3 inch core.
